This Performing Arts Showcase will take place in the Glenn Archer’s Performing Arts Center at Key West High School on May 19th at 5:30PM. This production features approximately 130 children, teens, and adults from all over the Lower Keys displaying their hard work in dance, athleticism, & SO MUCH MORE! This event is especially important! One of our goals with this year’s event is to raise awareness of the challenges we are facing in our nearshore waters by partnering with local Non-Profit organizations like Reef Relief, Seacamp, Mote Marine, & Plant a Million Corals with our “Into the Water” Poetry contest. The winners will even get to recite/perform their poems on stage! We are very excited to use our platform to spread opportunities to educate the public about our fragile ecosystem. To make this a magical and fulfilling experience for our families and students, we need sponsorships from our wonderful and generous business community to help offset operational costs & make it an affordable show for all families to attend. Just to give you an idea of what costs we are looking at; we have provided a tentative cost break-down for this production.
