DAYTIME DANCE ACADEMY
A three-hour weekly program for homeschool students ages 6–15. Blending Dance Fundamentals, Cultural Dance, Percussion, and Musical Theater to spark creativity, confidence, and community.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE:

Every Tuesday | 12:00PM-3:00PM

Fall & Spring blocks

In-studio showcase at the end of each block

Cohort size: 12–15 students

Lead teacher + assistant once enrollment exceeds 10 students
TUITION & SCHOLARSHIPS:

$300/month – includes one 3-hour session every Tuesday

$45 one-time non-refundable Registration Fee (per student, per block)
Scholarship Option

Families using the Step Up For Students Scholarship may apply their funding to cover the monthly tuition.

Please note: the $45 registration fee is not covered by SUFS and is due at enrollment. (If your student is already enrolled in a program at Island Groove, you do not need to pay the $45 registration fee again.)

STEP 1 : Log In/Create an IGD Parent Portal account using the "RESERVE YOUR SPOT TODAY" button above.
STEP 2 : Register for "Daytime Dance Academy" in our Homeschool Enrichment Program season.
STEP 3 : Pay the $45 Registration Fee to secure your placement with IGD.
APPLY FOR ASSISTANCE:
STEP 4 : Sign Up/Log In to your EMA (Education Market Assistant) account (red link above)
STEP 5 : In the sidebar navigation (desktop view), click on Marketplace under Expenditure Requests.
STEP 6 : Select Find Providers.
STEP 7 : Choose the student this request will apply to.
STEP 8 : In the search bar, type Island Groove Dance and click the link for the studio once it appears.
STEP 9 : Select the correct dance studio location (in-person only).
STEP 10 : Scroll down to the course you would like to enroll in.
• Example: Homeschool Enrichment Program (3 hours, once per week).

You can choose to pay for the entire 12 Week Course OR Monthly.
STEP 11 : When completing the order, please add a note with what the order is for.
